Extracts from String Quartet no. 1 'Elegies for Tom'
These are extracts from my first string quartet with optional interludes with mezzo-soprano. The quartet is a response to Thomas Hardy's poem 'Afterwards' and the sung text is Larkin's 'The Mower' which itself is an homage to the Hardy poem.
