I'm delighted to say I'm YCAT's Composer Fellow for 2026/27. This will involve me writing new chamber works for two of their artists, guitarist Samrat Majumder and violinist Matteo Cimatti. In June Hebrides Ensemble will perform my work Coalesce: Quartet for the Start of Life alongside Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time at St. Magnus Festival on the Orkney Islands. Hebrides Ensemble will perform my new work: Coalesce 'Quartet for the Start of Life' alongside Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time in four concerts across Scotland. This new work is commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society.
1st February - Cumnock, Dumfries House 2nd February - Edinburgh, Fruitmarket 6th February - Portree, Bun Sgoil Ghaiding 7th February - Glasgow, Adelaide Place Hebrides Ensemble will perform my new work Coalesce Quartet for the Start of Life alongside Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time in the first concert of their Music for Time tour

Lotte Betts-Dean chose my arrangement of Finzi's Shortening Days for quartet and mezzo (written for Lotte) as part of her selections on Jess Gillam's Radio 3 show 'This Classical Life'.
I have been selected as an RPS composer for 2025. This involves a year long programme of support and training working with the RPS and a commission to write for Hebrides Ensemble.
